RHODE ISLAND AIRCRAFT NEAR MISS WITH UFO
PROVIDENCE - Peter Davenport played me the tape of a pilot's
UFO encounter. I felt the pilot's testimony was forth right and
concerned. The pilot saw an egg shaped object pass in close
proximity to his aircraft on June 22, 2000, about at 8:30 PM, while
flying on an IFR flight plan at 8000 feet msl. He states, "Due to
thunderstorms in the interior of Massachusetts, I was unable to fly
northbound to my destination, and I was tracking the RI/CT
coastline to the west trying to get around the weather ." The Sun
had already set below the horizon, but the western sky was still
very bright orange and ground detail was still easily identifiable. At
first, I saw what I thought was a bird directly in my flight path, it
appeared to be writhing in effort to avoid my plane (this is not an
uncommon sight). Very quickly, I determined that the bird (object)
was not on a collision course, but it would pass very close to my
position. As it drew closer I could see that it was not a bird, but
rather an egg shaped object standing on end.
The top and bottom of the "egg" was not rounded but spiked with
three points each. Against the bright sky it was just a black
silhouette and possessed no lights. It appeared to be moving in an
eastbound direction and passed very close to and above he right
wing of my aircraft. The first officer was looking for a fix on a
navigational chart and did not observe the object. However, I
immediately contacted ATC and inquired about any radar targets on his equipment in my vicinity.
The initial response was no, but shortly thereafter he reported a primary target (no transponder or verifiable altitude info) behind me in trail about a mile. ATC then informed me that object appeared to be stationary and then began to drift slowly to the east. I had no further contact with the object.
Shortly, before I was handed off to another co FAA ATC voice or
radar controller. "On a separate frequency, I heard the object called as stationary traffic to an airliner."
((NUFORC Note: We have talked to the witness on several
occasions, and we find him to be exceptionally credible. In addition,
we have received from the FAA Boston Center both audio and
radar tapes for the time period indicated. The Quality Assurance
Office at Boston Center, which processed NUFORC's FOIA
request indicates that the audio tape confirms that a pilot reported
an anomalous object to the Center handling his flight. We will post

ARKANSAS UFO SEEN FROM AIRLINER
NORTHEAST TIP OF ARKANSAS
March 12, 2000
Peter Davenport writes that he was contacted by a Flight Attendant for a major airline who had a sighting. On March 12, 2000, I was flying from
Memphis, TN to St. Louis, MO. at approx. 9:10 PM. While serving a first class passenger on the left side of the aircraft I noticed out the window that a ball of light was approaching from the rear of the aircraft at a speed faster than what we were going. (I would guess about
700 mph).
The object appeared as a fuzzy ball of light pinkish in color which went out when it came parallel to our aircraft. It then began producing reflective sparks over the top of the ball shaped object of what appeared to be of a metallic nature. It then veered toward the
aircraft and went under us and disappeared.
When I notified the flight crew, they said that they had no reports of anything in the area and refused to talk about it any further. I asked the passenger what she thought it was and she replied that she could not make out anything that would make sense or anything she had ever seen before.
I have never seen anything while flying in my 12 years with the airlines. This was worth investigating. Thanks to the National UFO Reporting Center www.nuforc.com.

SILVER BLUE UFO FOLLOWING AN AIRLINER
DFW Area Over the DFW Airport, Texas

This sighting occurred in August of 1996 at around 12:00PM over the DFW area of Texas. This was an object about one quarter the size of the moon that followed our American Airlines turbo-prop aircraft the last few miles into DFW about 18 months ago I think August I believe and around midnight.
This object always remained outside the left side of the aircraft and somewhat behind. It remained there even during the routine turns that aircraft do when approaching an airport, that is they are required to descend in a square pattern making several turns as they reduce in altitude. This object remained there through all the turns.
Once I glanced back and noticed all the passengers behind me were all looking at this object with blank looks on their faces as though they were in a trance, it was absolutely silent except for the engine and prop sounds inside that aircraft. I also noticed just prior to landing, the object grew larger in size to approximately half the size of the moon. This object was a silver blue color. Pretty strange but it happened

MISSOURI PILOTS REPORT MISSILE
NEAR THEIR AIRCRAFT
KANSAS CITY - NUFORC reports that on November
11, 1999, interesting report from the FAA Kansas City
Center of two executive jets in the vicinity of Farmington,
MO, that reported an object that "looked like a missile"
pass in proximity to their aircraft. The incident occurred at
approximately 8:00 AM. (CST). I have no reason to
believe it is related to the alleged Bermuda incident, but I
mention it because of the apparent similarity between the

CANADA AIRLINE PILOTS SPOT OBJECT
ONTARIO - F. Camire age: 44 an Airline Pilot on
November 16, 1999, sighted a UFO 50 nautical miles east
of Simcoe, Ontario. The UFO was sighted at 7:10 PM in
or near an air route. Luftansa Flight 470 and two other
aircraft reported the sighting to Toronto Air Traffic
Control Center. Their aircraft was about 5 miles to the
right of us at 35,000 feet also going westbound as they
reported seeing the lights to the left at roughly their
altitude. While we still had the lights in sight, we also
reported the sighting after another aircraft in the area did
the same, but we did not note its flight number.
ATC
responded that there was nothing special on their radar. It
was a very spectacular sight and something that we had
never experienced before. We were speculating at the time
that it might be a satellite or space debris coming crashing
down in the atmosphere. The UFO was sighted for 20

VERY UNUSUAL: The January 2000 edition of the magazine "Advanced Materials & Processes" has on thecover the photograph of an F/A-18C Hornet fighter jet taken up close in clear skies over the Pacific Oceanjust as the jet exceeds the speed of sound (breaks the sound barrier) at around 770 MPH. From a location on the jet about 2/3 way back from the nose there is a dense, white, cone-shaped cloud which forms right on the surface of the jet and extends outward 360 degrees to a distance of 50 to 60 feet while curving backward tosome point just beyond the tail section. The net visual effect is that a fighter jet is flying through a small, round, half-sphere white cloud. While jet aircraft have been breaking the sound barrier for over 50 years, I have never before seen a photograph of the effects associated with such flight.
LESSON: When straightwing aircraft were trying to break the sound barrier and shearing their wings off in the process, some thoughtit must be impossible to fly faster than the speed of sound. But it was not impossible. The problem was with their lack of wisdom concerning what they did know, and their lack of knowledge about something they hadnever before experienced. Most persons think it is impossible to take a living human body through a wall ofbrick, steel, concrete, sheet rock, shingle roofing, plywood, or any other materials out of which a building may be constructed, but aliens reportedly abduct humans right through those materials on a daily basis. And most of those humans are alive to tell about it.
Necessity forced us to learn how to build swept-wing aircraft, and we will learn how to pass one solid object through another without disturbing either one.
