the darker objects move out of the contrail as do larger white objects
with the darker ones attached. This "attachment" or "nudging against" is
usually on opposing sides of the white object two or four dark objects
affixed opposing one another along the exterior. With very large white
objects, there may be more darker objects attached around the perimeter..."
